My name is Emma Carson and I am a second year ordinand at CITI. I’m originally from Lisburn but have lived in Edinburgh and in Belfast. I worked as a primary school teacher before following the call to ordained ministry. My sponsoring Diocese is Down and Dromore and I attend both Willowfield Parish and Braniel Community Church.

I am a lifelong member of St John’s Church in Rathfriland, Co Down. My involvement with my local church began when I was baptised. I became a member of the church choir and became a Sunday School Teacher. I was church organist for twelve years in our sister church at Ballyward, Castlewellan.
