2nd year MTh part–time

Hi I’m Andy and I’m a 2nd year MTh student on the part–time route. I come from Bangor, County Down and I’m married with three children (a boy and 2 girls). The part–time route was the only option open to me but has worked out great so far.

I’ve worked as a Rapid Response Paramedic after graduating from Coventry University in 2009 with a Paramedic Science degree. Since then I have undertaken Specialist Paramedic training with the UWE in Bristol.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my children, going for walks and discovering nature. In addition to this my son and I are avid model railway enthusiasts and can be found on a rainy day in the attic.

My call to ministry was develop over many years, but the time felt right and with God’s love, His care and His direction, I somehow found myself in the CITI! Whilst the academic side was daunting at first, I’ve enjoyed it immensely and found great support from the teaching
staff and visiting lecturers.
