Welcome from the Director of the Institute, Dr. Maurice Elliott

Dr. Maurice ElliottWelcome to the website of the Church of Ireland Theological Institute. As you browse these pages, my hope is that you will be both informed and enthused by the vision and the passion which undergird the shared life of our staff and students. We are a small but growing community who pray and study together both residentially and at a distance. Our purpose is to serve the whole Church and in so doing, to further the Great Commission. We are committed to striving after excellence, and in everything to emulate and honour Jesus Christ.

Vision Statement

We are called to be a community of faith that integrates living worship with academic excellence for the benefit of all traditions within Irish Anglicanism, the resourcing of ministry, the development of existing and new patterns of church, and the building of bridges between diverse partner agencies. For the sake of His mission in the world, God is calling us to be a model of grace, welcome and integrity.
