The Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe, the Right Revd Kenneth Kearon, recently visited the Church of Ireland Theological Institute, preached at the Community Eucharist in the Chapel, joined the community for dinner and met staff and students.

This was Bishop Kearon’s first time to preach in the chapel in CITI since his ordination as Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe last year. But this was return visit for the bishop, who co–ordinated the training programme for NSM ministry from 1996.

As a former Director of the Irish School of Ecumenics, he fostered close links with CITI when it was the Church of Ireland Theological College.

Before becoming Bishop of Limerick and Killaloe, he was Secretary General of the Anglican Communion.
